“Flexible and User Friendly”
I've created a few websites for our various photo booth businesses and we use wordpress for all our websites (https://shutterphotobooth.com.au), and it's easy to work out and use. The first site I ever created is using wordpress, it's great because you can simply choose a template and customise it using plugins. I'd highly recommend it!

“I believe in WordPress”
My blogging site - MostlyBlogging.com contains contains an article which talks about the review of WordPress and other content management software.
I can truly say I believe in WordPress. The main reason is the number of resources WordPress users have at their disposal. These include free tools, premium tools, and Facebook groups. Sometimes WordPress themes and plugins have support groups. I've seen them on Facebook. Also, since most people use WordPress as their CMS, there are people who can guide you. For example, there are forums that exist to help you.
WordPress is also user-friendly. I haven't heard that said about other content management systems. Sometimes, links from other content management systems don't work well. I wish the Happiness Engineers at WordPress offered live chat help like they do with WordPress.com.

“Easy and simple”
My name is BJ Enoch, I’m currently the Director of Demand Generation for opendorse, and was most recently the VP of Enterprise Accounts for large digital agency in Colorado (SocialSEO). Unless a business has hyper-specific needs like enterprise size eCommerce, my go-to for SERP performance is WordPress. With the right plugins and themes, a WordPress site can be absolutely anything you want it to. A SaaS frontend, eCommerce site, community forum, educational site, local business, really anything. There are enough plugins and themes around these days that you can start with a fresh install and within 24hrs have a fully functioning website capable or taking transaction or publishing content.
Pros:
- Lots of easy to follow the documentation to help anyone get a site up and running easily
- Highly customizable, with tools like Elementor pretty much anyone can build a well-functioning site that conforms to SEO best practices
- WordPress has an almost endless selection of plugins to solve almost any problem or need
- With relatively minimal effort and install, a site can be set up to check almost all SEO needs (titles, meta descriptions, structured data, sitemaps, etc).
Cons:
- With the endless selection of plugins out there that also means there are exponentially more possible security exploits. WordPress sites need to be regularly monitored and plugins update to patch security holes.
- The ability to add endless plugs can lead to bloated sites quickly that slow down or conflict with each other during updates
- Out of the box, WordPress sites are not super fast and may need some tweaking to get page load speed (especially mobile) down into a good range.
