There are numerous networking softwares that help us stay connected to our office members and continue our work during this pandemic.
More importantly, they help the businesses stay open and find new ways to drive traffic to sell and market through ads using these networking softwares.
InsideTechWorld uses Hootsuite as a driving asset for their business by scheduling posts and saving time, which helps get social traffic onboard and save time. The experience has been excellent so far since Hootsuite has helped us plan and perform tasks almost weeks in advance in some cases, saving us a lot of time. Many advantages make Hootsuite outshine as a networking software compared to others. Moreover, it becomes a pain to manage multiple social networks (we manage 6) and then separately manage ad campaigns, and then how to make unified reports? Hootsuite does it all for us, and we can quickly share it with our investors anytime.
If not Hootsuite, we had to hire a social media analyst person that would actually cost us more than what we pay for Hootsuite business plan. Pro tip: you can talk with Hootsuite support and then can give you a discounted package.
Pros
The scheduling for posts and messages is very convenient and smoothly done.
It allows you to view each post's performance, which saves you the time of checking through platforms individually.
Compared to other similar set of feature softwares, Hootsuite covers more social media platforms to manage.
The customer service is beneficial; they are readily available to help you out at any given time.
Ad Campaigns management.
A pseudo-preview of social media posts about what they are going to look like.
Social media streams all consolidated in one view.
Cons
They have launched a new UI/UX lately, but still the platform has a poor and dull interface, needs more aesthetics to be a little pleasing to the eyes.
You cannot post to your Facebook profile, so in case you want to share a post to your friends - you can't.
Instagram and Pinterest support is pretty limited as compared to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
To be honest, they can provide much more like hashtag suggestions, related already shared posts, and many more auto recommendation features.
I would rate Hootsuite at 4 --- I would somewhere between 4 to 5 actually. While this might be one of your best options to manage social media, it still needs improvement in certain technical and UI/UX areas. However, the functionality it offers is very smooth and convenient to use.
