Intacct has a lot of functionality for the business world and a lot of things can be done to achieve what is needed for your company. The company I work for has a couple of different entities that we keep the books for and we have clients that we keep the books for. We are able to do all of this in Intacct and keep everything separate. There are some aspects that do need improving though including: The account description is cut short when entering Journal entries. So, if you have Accrued Expenses, Accrued Interest, Accrued Indemnity...one would only be able to see the Accrued word and not the rest Purchasing Transactions do not have a "submit and new" button Deactivated cash accounts still show up on the bank register When emailing invoices, a distribution cannot be created for multiple recipients Standard Invoice Documents don't pull data from the customer fields as they should Credits do not populate on the payment screen as stand alone items. Instead you apply the credits without seeing the credits you are applying A trial balance cannot be run with multiple dimensions i.e. customer/class When going into a "receive payment" you cannot receive a payment on an account with a zero balance IT support uses a ticket system that they will close out if the user is still reviewing the item or is scheduling to view the item
