At Business Waste Guru, we use Google Drive.

Pros: 

- Essentially free (Up to 15gb),

- Real time edits make for easy collaboration when writing documents or presentations

- Data is automatically stored on the cloud 

- Easy integration with Google Drive makes for simple and secure file-sharing. 

Cons:

- Unable to carry out complex tasks on docs and sheets.

- Can take some time to get used to the UI if coming from Microsoft Office.

Copper H2O is a 100% female run e-commerce social enterprise in the health and wellness industry. We started our business in 2015 and have several staff members who work remotely. We have experimented with several different staff monitoring systems over the years and believe that Google Drive works best. We find it optimal to have remote workers save all of their documents into Google Drive. This permits you to check in and view the documents so that you can check their progress and provide comments and feedback in real time. 

COVID-19 has struck businesses in our region quite hard. Fortunately, we have been able to overcome this through our experience in remote work. InvoZone uses this software to keep productivity high, manage employees and collaborate with teams.

This must be Google's best creation as of now. Google Drive is one of the best tools to store, create and share documents with team members. It offers features like edit history, viewing history, and aligns perfectly with Microsoft Office Suite as well. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms are some of the useful tools that we have used extensively in the past 3 months of lockdown due to the coronavirus. Moreover, new users are provided with 15 GB of free space. This is so much more than its competitors like Dropbox and OneDrive.

I’ve been using Google Drive for sharing and collaborating with my team. What I like in this app is that it is connected to other collaboration tools like Google Docs and Google Sheets. It is easy to use and you can make edits real time and the changes made are also being tracked by a Version History option.

Here are the pros and cons of Google Drive:

PROs. Since Google Drive is a cloud-based server, it enables you to access your files anywhere as long as you have your gmail and password with you. You can organize your files, upload, remove or edit real-time, and your colleagues will also get to see what has been changed. Also, you can add comments on cells (Google Sheets) or words (Google Docs).

CONs. Since you can use multiple devices in accessing your Google Drive account, we must also be aware that it is vulnerable to hackers, so make sure you log out of devices you’re not using and change your password regularly to prevent others from stealing your data or accessing your account.
