Weesper Transcribe is a native Mac app for turning existing audio and video files into accurate, editable transcripts. Drop in a podcast, interview, lecture, meeting recording, or video and process it locally on your Mac. Files and transcripts are never uploaded, and no account is required. The app supports about 57 transcription languages, long recordings, batch processing, clickable timestamps, and a searchable private history. Export clean text, Markdown, SRT, VTT, DOCX, PDF, HTML, CSV, or JSON.

An optional local automation API lets scripts and local tools process files without a cloud transcription service. Weesper Transcribe is free to download and try. A one-time Pro purchase removes the file-length limit and unlocks batch processing, advanced exports, editing, search, timestamps, and automation. There is no subscription.
