About Videokr

Videokr is a hosted video platform built for marketing sites rather than for media libraries. You upload a video or point Videokr at a link, and it stores and delivers the file, wraps it in a player you control — skin, accent colour, corner radius, logo watermark and per-control toggles — and reports how people actually watched it, second by second.

Inside the player you can add chapters, captions, timed overlays, end screens and email lead gates, then embed the result on any website or in WordPress. Pricing is metered on plays, not bandwidth: a free tier forever, $5 or $29 monthly plans, and a one-time lifetime licence. Videokr was founded on 17 January 2026 by James Thomas and is based in Byron, Minnesota.

Free plan: $0 forever, 5 videos, 500 plays per month. Paid plans start at $5 per month (Starter: 10,000 plays, unlimited videos, your logo with no Videokr badge, lead capture and CTAs). Agency is $29 per month with unlimited plays, projects and playlists. Annual billing is available, and there is a lifetime licence from $69 one-time. All plans meter plays, not bandwidth.
