Transcribear

Our passion is to make transcription and annotation easier for everyone. Originally developed for a research project - the CAWSE Corpus, Transcribear is a browser-based tool that allows you to transcribe and annotate data on the same interface. The manual transcription mode can operate offline so that your recordings and transcripts can remain secure and confidential. The automated transcription mode uses state-of-the-art technology to convert speech into text and can save you hours' or even days' manual work.

Transcribear also allows you to customize the annotation scheme and shortcut keys according to your needs. With a user-friendly interface, Transcribear has a built-in spell checker and validation functionality. No matter you work with text, audio or video files, Transcribear can help you with any project and do it faster and better. If you don't want to transcribe the data yourself, don't worry.
