I’m a founder at ProfitBooks – It’s financial accounting software designed for business owners.

I look after sales and marketing functions in the company.

What was the objective behind coming up with this software?

Every business needs accounting software but unfortunately, most software is very complex to use, and only seasoned accountants and operate them.

We wanted to change that. We wanted to build a solution that is easy to operate and can still get the work done. That’s why we came up with ProfitBooks.
Business owners find it very easy to operate.

How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?

Apart from financial accounting, ProfitBooks makes it easy to do ‘sales accounting’. Business owners can create accounts for their sales executives and assign them a ‘sales role’. This way, they can track the sales performance individually.

Apart from this unique feature, ProfitBooks also helps to manage other business flow such as inventory management.

What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?

We primarily cater to the service and trading industry. Small-scale manufacturing industries also prefer ProfitBooks for its inventory management functions.

What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?

Super simple user interface and ability to do sales accounting differentiates us.

What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?

We always aim for the highest ratings when it comes to customer satisfaction. To improve the rating, we focus a lot on onboarding customers.

Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?

Yes, we offer monthly and annual subscriptions, and customers renew their subscriptions regularly.

Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?

We have a dedicated YouTube channel that hosts help videos. Apart from that, we have a help centre that has hundreds of in-depth articles.

We also conduct webinars with industry experts regularly.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

We offer chat, email, and voice support to our customers.

What has been the revenue for your product for 2020?

We do not disclose revenue publicly.

Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?

We are continuously adding new integrations and during the next 10 years, we want to offer a truly integrated experience to our customers.

I also feel that AI will play a big role in financial accounting, it will help business owners to make the right decisions about their finances. We are betting on that too.
