ProcureTrail organises how mid-size organisations handle purchasing, goods receipt, and asset ownership. Every
transaction follows a governed path — requisitions route through approval chains matched by department, category,
amount, and location before becoming purchase orders.

The system handles standard procurement, service expenses, vendor debit notes, and asset operations including
write-off, scrap, disposal, inter-department transfer, and consumption. Each type enforces field-level validation
rules automatically.

Purchase orders carry TDS defaults from the vendor master. Approvers can adjust tax rates and terms before sign-off.
At goods receipt, the system compares invoice quantities, prices, and GST against the original order — minor
variances clear within a configurable tolerance, larger gaps need explicit resolution or generate debit notes
automatically.
