Moz Local

Pros: I like how compatible it is with other software

Cons: You have to manually enter a lot of information in the beginning

Pros:

The main reason I use Moz is that it centralizes all my SEO tools under one platform, saving me time and money. Although it's priced a bit higher than some SEO platforms, the tools they offer makes it more than worth it. For example, instead of paying other competirtors for backlinks, keyword rank check and citations/directories, search volumes, Moz local provides all those features plus more (like page optimization) to one platform.

Cons:

The only thing I would say I don’t like about Moz is their Google toolbar extension. The extension is a little glitchy and although it provides a great way to quickly view a websites domain authority…It doesn’t always work. And the price can seem a bit high, especially if you are a startup.

In summary, I use Moz’s software on my client’s accounts and in my role at Condo Control Central

The big pro from my experience for Red Hand Digital Marketing is Moz Local. It gets the job done at a much more affordable price than other software. 

The biggest con is that the main piece of software Moz built their name off of, Open Site Explorer, just doesn't cut it against some of the other more powerful alternatives with much better indexes. 

So, the summary would be "Yes" to Moz Local, but the rest needs work. 

Anyone who has optimized for Google’s Local Pack knows the importance of acquiring online citations and ensuring they are consistent and accurate. In the past, when I was optimizing local business websites, Moz Local was great software to have, because I could use it to build out the top 15 local citations for clients of Auto Accessories Garage and it would also provide feedback on whether existing citations needed to be edited for consistency and accuracy. This was enormously helpful.
