MapTrack

MapTrack is an Australian-founded asset tracking platform, established in 2012, that helps construction, mining and field service teams track tools, equipment, plant and fleet across multiple sites. The platform was rebuilt from the ground up in 2022 after 300+ direct user research sessions.

MapTrack started in 2012 when three co-founders, each with deep experience in construction, mining and field services, got tired of watching teams lose track of their most valuable assets. Spreadsheets, whiteboards and disconnected systems were the norm. Nobody had a single source of truth.

So we built one. For over a decade, MapTrack helped Australian teams track tools, equipment and plant across sites and crews. Along the way, the team sat down with more than 300 customers for direct user sessions, watching how people actually worked in the field, not how software companies assumed they did.
