I'm Akshay Sheth, the founder of Livefield Technologies. Livefield is a construction management platform that has been developed for the Builders and Contractors to stay productive, collaborate seamlessly between the field and office, and document every step of every project.

What was the objective behind coming up with this software?

Currently, the major issue in the construction industry is lack of material, incomplete drawings, inspection delay, quality, time consumed in reporting, poor communication etc. With the help of Livefield, we are trying to solve these issues, so that we could increase productivity in the construction industry.

How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?

Livefield provides a digital solution designed specifically for the construction industry. Every business is unique and the general solution available in the market doesn’t meet the unique operational needs of the construction industry. Livefield is developed considering the requirements of the construction industry. e.g. Drawing sheets are the heart of the construction industry. The software available in the market doesn’t provide features to annotate, comment on drawing etc.

In some organizations, spreadsheets, paper, WhatsApp, and emails are used to keep track of and plan projects. Tools like WhatsApp and Excel might be great for other occasions but they can’t offer site visibility. The data shared through them lacks the connection to the master plan. This makes it hard for people to see where things are overall and what tasks are progressing, what’s coming next.

What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?

We generally serve Construction Industry. Our software is best suited to General Contractors, Sub-contractors, Designers, Architects, Engineers, and Project management consultants.

What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?

There are very few companies that provide functionalities to annotate construction drawings, manage drawing revision, resource management, etc. Most of the software in the market are general solutions for all industries or solve 1-2 issues. The software that solves most of the issues of the construction industry is very few. Some of these software are priced so high that most of the people can’t afford it. Our goal is to transform the way the world builds by introducing technology to the world's one of the oldest and largest industries.

What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?

We have a customer satisfaction rate of more than 90%. We keep in touch with them and provide different ways to manage work using Livefield. We update our app regularly and bring new features based on the customer’s feedback and requirement.

Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?

Our pricing model is subscription-based so our customers are repetitive. More than 70% of our customers are repetitive.

Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?

Yes, we provide a user guide for how to use the software for all users. We also provide demo and video training regarding how to use the product.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

Clients could contact us using Email, Live chat, and on the phone. We try to solve issues within 48 hours.

What has been the revenue for your product for 2022?

We have recently launched our application, so currently haven’t generated any revenue.

Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?

In the next 10 years, we could visualize our product as the world’s most trusted construction management solution for construction teams on projects of any scale.
