The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Automated Fingerprint Information Systems guidelines mandate certain criteria for all mugshots and photographs taken of arrested individuals, yet not all agencies are able to comply. Thanks to innovations made possible by Hunter Systems Group, Inc. and Quantum Signal, LLC, those criteria can now easily be satisfied by any law enforcement agency with our Hunter Smartshot® mug shot capture system. Requirements such as lighting, background, and aspect ratio are all masterfully arranged within the Hunter SmartShot® application so that every photograph is captured in exactly the same way.

The occurrence of inadmissible mugshots is virtually eliminated. Victims and witnesses alike can now compare standardized photos and better identify suspects. This is the first complete out-of-the-box solution in the marketplace today and is comprised of a camera, mounting hardware, software, and training guide.
