Effects was not for me. The other tools helped you manage the photo(s), but Effects looked to actually alter the content on it which was not something I am looking for.

I have auto backup of my photos from my iPhone to my N AS, which means I have a ton of HEIC photos that my Windows 11 PC cannot read nor can an antiquated photo editing software. I need the HEIC's converted to JPG so that I can view, edit and otherwise manage that photo stream. HEIC to JPG Converter offers a batch conversion and flies through batch conversion, making JPG copies of my HEIC originals.
