About FirebirdSQL

Development of the PHP 'ibase' driver for Firebird (and InterBase) has been revived, with seed funding from KIMData GmbH and Martin Koeditz stepping up to lead the work. Initially, the task involves sorting out some bugs concerning usage with PHP v.7.x and Martin has indicated that he is willing to take on the ongoing maintenance of the driver.
