The rendering is good, the detail of texture is impressive. I can easily translate my SketchUp to render in d5. the animation is so really realistic and has variety of materials, models, particles and such

It is free with a limited library but it will give you the chance to learn it and explore it before immediately committing to a subscription. It also has the ability to link with other softwares such as Revit and 3dmax which is super helpful.
