The billable expenses feature is especially helpful—I can add costs like stock footage and project materials directly to client invoices instead of tracking them separately. The online payment option lets clients pay straight from the invoice, which cuts down on back-and-forth and speeds up getting paid.
  • Billbooks makes creating proforma invoices quick and straightforward. I can include client details, project information, and expected costs without entering everything repeatedly. It’s very useful for sending clients a clear estimate before starting work.

What users like the least

  • I would like to see more invoice templates and customization options. It would be nice if the invoices are more suitable for my business branding.
  • I’d like to see more customization options for proforma invoice layouts and emails.
