“Good solid product”
Pros: It helps you clean up the HR related tasks.
Cons: The API could benefit from some cleanup or re-architecting. It's not always obvious how to use it and I don't feel is follows the up to date best practices for REST API
Overall Experience: Good solid product. Especially since they improved the mobile app.

PROS: Great at many things: Reminders, tracking training, ease of use, customizing, PTO tracking, approval system. The support teams are all kind and great.
CONS:
1. On the old version you could, but now you can't send emails out to your team, only announcements which are formatted in all bold. Just very odd looking. This just changed earlier in 2014 and the development team doesn't know what it used to look like. That was odd.
2. Can't add categories to notes (i.e.: disciplinary note, review note, etc)
3. Some folders under documents cannot be removed, even though you aren't using them.

“Human Resources Made Easy”
It's nice to have a place that handles all your PTO, medical, benefits, schedules, job applicants and more. We even use it to manage things such as employee assets, company assets, and documents. Limited customizability Limited as to what information can be displayed within the platform.

Overall a great HRIS if you are a small company 50-150 employees and are looking for a great way to streamline your processes and organize your employee information.Very easy to use from the employee to the manager level. With the use of the app employees and managers are able to easily submit and approve time off requests on from their phone.

“Manages everything beautifully”
BambooHR is one of the best decisions I made for improving our Human Resource Department. It helped us to centralize data related to various topics into a single view. Moreover, the Mobile APP lets our employee’s access, sort, controls and analyzes the data instantly. Also, my employees like features such as automate time-off requests and approvals, track available time off, set accrual policies, and generate attendance reports.
