The Free Website Guys are amazing! As someone with exactly ZERO experience with website creation or design, it was an incredible relief when TFWG stepped in, took the reins, and guided my team through the whole process. They were very responsive to every question, concern, and limitation I had to deal with. As a currently incarcerated community member and college professor, it would have otherwise been a daunting task to fulfill my role of supervising a student intern whose main project was creating a website!! Now, we are confidently uploading articles, images, infographics, text, and videos to create an engaging information hub around why Maine needs a restorative, victim-sensitive parole system to be established as an avenue of building community safety: Parole4Me.com! That's right! The Free Website Guys support social justice work, too!!

I really have to thank Sven and his team for helping me along the journey of re-designing my site from the ground up. Their guidance helped me update my site and have it looking much better than before. I was also able to better understand how my site operated and was introduced to many useful practices which I will carry forward. I'm sure these practices will make my site more successful. When I was approached by the free website guys, I was immediately attracted to their proposal because of them using this as a tool to train developers from developing countries. The project manager, Sven, was amazing. The information he gave me from the beginning to the handover was clear and very concise, and made the whole project run smoothly. Entirely for free, they designed my website and then passed it onto me to add the substantive content (which I am still working on). Their communication was great and their hand off process was very thorough. They provided "how to" videos that, as a non-technical person, I found very useful. I would highly recommend them!

If I'm totally honest, I thought that this service was too good to be true. Like a lot of people in this situation I asked "what's the catch?" THE WASN'T ONE. From the get go, thefreewebisteguys have been amazing. They have gone above and beyond to complete my site and to do so in a timely manner. What I really appreciated was the communication. When there was a delay in a response or delivery, they would keep me posted. But the reality was they wasn't much of a delay, they just had high standards! I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them to EVERYONE. Keep doing what you're doing guys!
