“Very expensive, slow and error-prone”
We used Filepino for company formation, banking, payroll, accounting, and compliance in the Philippines. The service fell far short of expectations for the price. Setup missed the timelines we were given, and opening a local bank account took over a year despite us repeatedly supplying the requested documents. There was no clear account owner, and teams worked in silos. We constantly chased updates, passed information between departments, spotted and corrected mistakes, and reminded them to complete work. Questions outside routine processes were often answered late, inconsistently, or not at all. Billing required constant checking. We found vague extra hours, unexplained expenses, incorrect carry-forwards, and duplicate charges. Several statements of account had to be revised after we challenged them, and we were even billed for time spent replying to a complaint about their own payroll errors. Filepino created far more work than it saved despite premium pricing.
