Design Monks

We worked with Design Monks to design an AI Property Management Assistant that serves both tenants and our internal property management team. They invested real time understanding our workflows and translated them into practical, easy-to-use interfaces for both audiences. For tenants, the solution handles maintenance requests, provides troubleshooting guidance, identifies the relevant property, classifies issues by urgency, creates tickets, and tracks request status. For our internal team, they designed AI-powered dashboards to search property information and summarize maintenance, financial, and operational data—giving us the backend tools we needed to manage everything efficiently.

They carefully considered how to present recommendations, collect user feedback, and communicate price differences and savings in ways that felt clear rather than overwhelming. The team was responsive and genuinely collaborative, iterating on our input throughout the project. They took time to understand our existing product and how our users actually think about grocery shopping and price comparison.

Design Monks took time to understand our banking workflows, customer journeys, and business requirements before translating them into a cleaner mobile experience. Their redesign of transfers, KYC verification, navigation, and other core banking journeys simplified complex processes without sacrificing the functionality our customers depend on.

My experience with Design Monks was excellent. They took time to understand our property pricing workflow and the specific data points our team needed to work with. Their biggest strength was translating a technically complex pricing system into a clear, user-friendly interface. They designed a dashboard that makes it easy to grasp recommended rates, occupancy, historical and competitor pricing, demand patterns, pricing rules, and forecasted revenue at a glance. The team was collaborative and receptive to feedback, with thoughtful attention to usability and visual hierarchy throughout the project.
